Let’s Play Games!

I admit wholeheartedly that I’m not a gamer. These first person shooters are just too fast paced, rely too much on my ability to tell where my feet are (first person view? Expect me to fall down ladders/off cliffs constantly), and assume I can find my way out of a maze of corridors and doors in a short amount of time while I’m being shot at.

I’m usually the man they leave at the back entrance gate, hidden behind a crate, so I can perform exactly one task at the very end of the mission. AND THAT’S OK.

    I won’t lie to you.
You’re clearly the most important member of the team u-u

    • Thank you for validating what I had actually suspected aaaaaaaaall along

Been there, stuck in spectate mode.
“I think I have become one with the floor!”

    • The best time is when they have to come find me before the mission timer runs out

Or you find that you are in the absolute best place to support the team via sniper fire…and you’re loaded out for scout or “bullet sponge”.
“I can, uh, throw something? Maybe?”

        • :throws gun, it bounces into a ditch: Welp. I’m out.

A lot of this just comes with practice, but it’s hard to get good if you’re playing with people way above your ability level.

  • Silly Jen, they never gave you a character. You’re just watching them play.

    • Hah! :still sitting in the setup screen:
